Recently I was listening to one of my new favorite bands, Loch Lomond, and saw that one of the songs was called "Bird and a Bear." Just wondered if there was any connection to this post, or if it's just a total coincidence.
And now I realize it's just a total coincidence.

Have you stopped posting permanently?
I saw your comic in the book Flight (Paper & String) and it became my favourite short comic. I was in a similar situation as the girl at the time. I'm sad to see I missed the gallery in fort lauderdale by a few months, I could have taken the train there. :(
although I think you might have stopped posting, I hope you read this, your art is amazing.
